Through its partnership with Pinnacle, the deal will offer FansUnite access to esports data platform GRID and its existing relationships with event organisers and leagues.
Scott Burton, CEO of FansUnite, commented on the partnership in a release: “We aim to partner with the leading companies in the industry to provide the best product and options to our customers using the Chameleon Platform. With Pinnacle’s addition and their relationship with GRID Esports, we continue to add the best esports betting data available with the most markets and the best odds. It’s exciting to be the first to offer Pinnacle Solution’ service, and we are honoured they chose to work with us.”
At large, the strategic partnership will present Chameleon Gaming Platform partners with “a competitive advantage over other turnkey B2B esports betting products,” according to a release. Elaborating further on its approach, Burton says the Chameleon Gaming Platform will leverage licensing fees for sportsbooks which utilise its services, generating additional revenue for its partners.

Paris Smith, CEO of Pinnacle, added: “Our B2B strategy is one that is built on laying solid foundations. Our continued growth, which includes deals like this, is a clear sign that we are working hard to build on our already impressive offering and keep leading the way for others to follow. Whether it’s the odds, the risk management, the data, we have the complete package as well as a best-in-class service to match.”
In February, Askott Entertainment formed a strategic partnership with Pinnacle to develop new esports betting markets. The roots of which connected all entities once FansUnite completed the acquisition of the Vancouver-based iGaming software developer in August.
Pinnacle is a prominent brand in the esports bookmaking space, adopting competitive gaming markets early in its evolution. The betting operator’s extensive network of partners includes Abios, Flashpoint, FACEIT, and North.
Esports Insider says: This deal will likely open up a significant network of potential partners and clients for both FansUnite and Pinnacle. With brand equity as rich as any bookmaker operating in esports, Pinnacle can surely help legitimise the Chameleon Gaming Platform and its offerings.
