Inter Milan first entered esports in February after securing a partnership with QLASH, however, a few days ago rival club AC Milan announced its own entrance into esports following an agreement with the Italian organisation.
Alongside partnering with Bundled, Pedro “InterPResende97” Resende, Levy “Inter Levy” Frederique, Nicolas “Inter NLaos_X” Velasco, and Manoel “Inter MNeto77” Neto will represent the club in the FIFA 21 Global Series operated by publisher Electronic Arts.
Allesandro Antonello, Inter Milan Corporate CEO, spoke on the partnership in a release: “The creation of the new Inter eSports team with the help of a leading industry player like Bundled represents another step forward for our club in the world of eSports. Our new eSports team, with its global stars, will enable us to further develop the Inter brand around the world, engaging with the younger generations and indeed all lovers of real and virtual football.”

Melvyn Wolthers, Managing Director at Bundled, also commented: “We’re honoured to be working with one of the most influential and iconic football clubs of all time. Our aim is to support Inter eSports and establish the team within the world of FIFA eSports by engaging with its global community.”
Esports Insider says: Inter Milan evidently sees value in esports after it first entered the industry in February. It will be interesting to see what the club does differently with Bundled supporting its efforts.
