Esports company DreamHack Sports Games and electronics retail company Elgiganten, together with Xbox, have announced a partnership for the fifth instalment of the eSuperliga.
As an official partner of the eSuperliga, Xbox and Elgiganten have equipped the eSuperliga studio and player practice room with their consoles.

The fifth season of the eSuperliga has FIFA teams from 15 clubs in Denmark compete as part of FIFA’s esports calendar.
Teams include giants of Denmark such as FC Copenhagen, who are currently atop the table through eight gameweeks.
Roger Kyng, Sr. Product & Business Development Manager Gaming at Elkjøp Nordic commented: “We at Elgiganten and Elkjøp are super excited to be backing this season of the eSuperliga, together with the amazing team at Xbox.
“The eSuperliga raises the bar every season and DreamHack Sports Games has positioned themselves as one of the most professional production teams on the globe, creating amazing entertainment every single time they air.”

The teams will compete for a total prize pool of more than $50,000 (£37,452), and the action will be broadcast via TV3 Max and Viaplay.
The partnership between the two does not come as a massive surprise, as earlier this year, DreamHack announced a multiple-year deal with the electronics company.
Cathrine Vadgaard, Executive Commercial Director, DreamHack Sports Games added: “We couldn’t have wished for two more relevant, nor active, partners for this season 5 of our eSuperliga.
“Launching their new consoles this November, Elgiganten and Xbox as partners, makes natural sense as the league introduces cross-console format, with Xbox being the newest addition. The partnership has already elevated the viewer experience in our broadcast, adding new entertainment elements such as Xbox Soccer Challenge and live-streamed prize competitions to our social media.”
Esports Insider Says: DreamHack Sports Games have been adding partners for their new season of the eSuperliga. Last month, the addition of L33T-Gaming added extra funding, and this deal with Elgiganten is sure to strengthen the eSuperliga as a FIFA esports event within the community.
