If you’re on the hunt for an Instant Pot deal, stick with CNET. We’ve been watching carefully for price drops on the popular multicooker all winter and boy did one just pop. Right now, two adorable Star Wars-themed 6-quart Instant Pots are down to $60 (normally $100), including one emblazoned with internet sensation Baby Yoda and another painted to look like R2-D2 (R2-D2 is store pickup only). Both are from an exclusive partnership curated by Williams Sonoma and this is the lowest we’ve seen either one go. It’s worth noting that the Duo is one of Instant Pot’s most popular models and the 6-quart is by far the most popular size.

If you don’t know much about Instant Pot, it’s the uber-popular multicooker that functions as a pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer and warmer with saute mode so you can make tender meats like brisket, beef stew, shredded chicken and pulled pork from start to finish. Wondering how to spot a multicooker deal? Instant Pots come in more variations than laptops, it seems, and pricing is often all over the map. The good news is that the holiday season is the best time to buy, whether you’re getting a real Instant Pot or one of the many (still capable) knockoff brands. The main rule: $50 to $70 is the sweet spot for a 6-quart Instant Pot. Most Instant Pots come in 3-, 6- and 8-quart sizes, with the 6-quart models being the most popular for families. For a single person or even a couple, you could easily get away with a three-quart.

Star Wars Baby Yoda Instant Pot Duo: $60

You save $40

Instant Pot

I did an actual double-take when I saw this deal pop up on Williams Sonoma. Rarely does the 6-quart Duo drop this low, period, never mind on the limited-edition Star Wars model plastered with renderings of the Baby Yoda, of Star Wars and internet meme fame.

You won’t have to travel to a galaxy far, far away or even to a department store that’s kind of close by to score this excellent Instant Pot deal, although there is no telling how long the sale will run or how much inventory is left. This versatile workhorse kitchen appliance would be an ultimate gift for any Star Wars fan who also happens to love delicious food that tastes like it took hours but didn’t. This Yoda-fide Instant Pot ships for free but note that it’s a final sale, so no returns or exchanges.

Star Wars 6-quart Instant Pot Duo: $80

I mean, I don’t know what the competition is, but this has to be the most obvious kitchen appliance and classic movie collaboration in history. The Instant Pot Duo already looks like R2-D2, even without the hilarious paint job. Practicality meets whimsy in a pitch-perfect gift for the Star Wars fan on your list. As of now this model is only available for store pickup we’ll update this post should it become available for shipping.

Instant Pot Duo 6-quart multicooker: $79

You save $20

Instant Pot

This is probably the most popular Instant Pot. It doesn’t have a ton of the new fancy bells and whistles but it has everything you need from a multicooker, including a sear function, 14 one-touch smart programs and an easy-release safety valve. While it’s $20 off the sticker price, we’ve previously seen the model go lower than $79 so if you can afford to hold out, we promise to update this post if and when it drops again.

Insignia 6-quart multicooker: $30 (Update: Deal expired)

Insignia

This Insignia multicooker does all the key things an Instant Pot does, but you’ll pay a third of the price. It also scores high marks in a whopping 3,000-plus verified purchase reviews, so don’t stress if you’re not as familiar with the brand name. We’ve done the digging and this discounted multicooker checks out.

Instant Pot Viva 6-quart multicooker: $49 (Update: Deal expired)

Save $51

Instant Pot

The Viva appears to be an offshoot of the popular Duo model with the addition of sous vide and cake-making (!) options, according to Instantpotology. This Instant Pot does just about everything you’d want or need a multicooker to do and under $50 is about as low as you’ll see it go. It features 15 cook settings: soup, meat/stew, chili, cake, egg, slow cook, pressure cook, saute, rice, multigrain, steam, sterilize, porridge, warm and yogurt. Again, 6 quarts is the most popular size: It’s large enough to cook for groups but not so huge that you’ll find it difficult to store. It also has OverHeat Protection, a safety lock to ensure safe pressure cooking.
