The 5G area will be powered by Spark, with Logitech G equipping the hub with its audio, streaming, and peripheral products. According to the release, the Spark Esports Hub is expected to be utilised by some of the ‘best teams in Australia and New Zealand’, such as the Dire Wolves.
David Harris, Managing Director of Guinevere Capital, added: “Following a challenging year globally, we’re delighted to finally be able to open the doors to the Spark Esports Hub.
“Our performance centres are grounded in furthering our esports science and training philosophies, whilst strengthening local communities. Seeing two industry leaders in Spark and Logitech G committing to the project in such a big way speaks to the value of esports in the region, and its incredibly bright future.”
The Spark Esports Hub is the latest facility to be launched by Guinevere Capital. The investment firm currently has esports hubs located in Twickenham Stadium and at Australia’s Sydney Cricket Ground.
Alongside providing esports teams with a facility to train, the hub also includes the Eden Park Esports High-Performance Centre, which is expected to become a community hub for gaming. As such, the centre will host weekly leagues for developing players.

“The iconic Eden Park venue also attracts the attention of new audiences, and puts New Zealand on the map as a global esports destination.”
Esports Insider says: It’s always great to see more facilities be created to strengthen esports and develop its structure regionally. Hopefully, the facility will help a variety of teams across a range of titles, whilst also providing greater development for up and coming players within Oceania’s esports ecosystem.
