LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Boxlight Corporation (Nasdaq: BOXL), a leading provider of interactive technology, digital signage, and software solutions, today announced a new podcast – Success Stories in Professional Development During COVID.
Krista Walker, Professional Development Program Manager with Boxlight-EOS Education, talked with Larry Jacobs from American Consortium for Equity in Education (ace-ed.org) about how Boxlight-EOS has continued to support teachers through school closures and the shift to remote learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among topics discussed was the professional development and coaching support provided to Phoenix Union High School District (PXU) in Arizona for the past 8 years and counting. After school closures were announced on March 13, 2020, EOS had redesigned the PXU program by March 16, 2020, creating Learning Labs and Virtual Playgrounds, among other offerings, to continue the strong partnership and guidance to staff.
Walker stated that the goal of Boxlight-EOS is to provide professional development that is tiered, flexible, and adaptable. This includes listening to what administration and teachers need and how they can best help them be successful. Stated Walker, “We invest in those who’ve invested in us. We thrive on those relationships.”
