Mike Satterfield Named U.S. Spokesperson for Historic Mexican Road Rally

Alta Loma, California (October 31, 2014) – The Rally Historico Transpeninsular, the premiere vintage road race of Baja California, is proud to announce it has named Mike Satterfield to the position of U.S. Spokesperson. Mike will spearhead public relations, marketing and B2B communications initiatives for the rally in the U.S. at events like the SEMA show.
Satterfield himself will be racing a one of a kind classic Austin Healey in the over 1,100 mile road race, Michael, along with his Co-Driver AJ Anderson will also be part of a film project about the race that will debut at the AutoMoto Film Festival during Monterey Car Week in 2015.
“We are so excited to be brought on board as part of the official media team for the Rally Historico Transpeninsular, it is going to be an epic adventure and I believe this will become an important event on the vintage automotive racing calendar” said Satterfield.

The rally takes place on the transpeninsular highway, better know as Mexico 1. Restricted to historic race cars built before 1973 the three day compeition spans over 1,100 miles (1,700 kilometers), between Tijuana and Cabo San Lucas.  Over the two lane black top of Mexico 1 through some opf the most challenging roads and breathtaking scenary the racers will take part in an amazing adventure.
