Irwindale, Calif. – – Irwindale Event Center has announced the 2015 NASCAR event schedule for Irwindale Speedway. The track that’s called “LA’s Half-Mile Superspeedway” will celebrate its sixteenth season of racing with a full card of oval track racing action, as well as a number of nights of fun and games.
The just released schedule includes 14 nights of NASCAR racing and adds one “Day” and 5 “Nights of Destruction” events. “We always try to have something for everyone at Irwindale over the course of a season,” said Operations VP Bob Klein. This year we’ve peppered our regular oval track stock car racing schedule with a number of fun nights when all sorts of on-track motorized hilarity takes place.”
Opening night of the 2015 NASCAR season has been set for March 28. Irwindale’s featured Late Model championship division will headline that night’s show with support from the Irwindale Race Trucks, Super Stocks, and Mini-Stocks. A special event on April 11 will see the touring teams of the K&N Pro Series West take to the super-competitive half-mile.
As usual, each and every Saturday night event will be preceded by one of Irwindale’s signature “On Track Autograph Sessions”. All of the night’s drivers, their faithful crew members, and their colorful race cars take their places on the front straightaway of the track and fans are invited down to get autographs, take photos, get to know the drivers, and maybe even crawl into one of the cars for a real up close and personal look. The autograph session is a not-to-be-missed added attraction that’s part of every admission, every race.
TICKET PRICES: Tickets for all regular season NASCAR races remain at 1999 prices: $15.00 for adults, with youngsters 6 to 12 on board for $5.00, and the under 5 set in free.
2015 SEASON TICKETS: Season Tickets, which include all 14 regular season NASCAR races and all 6 “Destruction” events, are once again set for $99 per person. Close in VIP/Preferred Parking directly behind the grandstands is also available for all 20 of the above events at $99. Both plans offer considerable savings over the regular price of $15. (NOTE: this offer is comprised of one individual ticket for each event of the 20 regular season dates).
IRWINDALE SKYBOXES: A few of Irwindale’s Luxury Corporate Suites are still available for the 2015 season. Suite rental includes 30 VIP tickets and 5 VIP/Preferred parking spaces for each of the 20 races noted above. On-site catering is available. For more information please call (626) 358-1100.
