The SunDay of Destruction
Sunday Afternoon – Feburary 15, 2015
Irwindale, Calif. – – Just when everyone thought that it was going to be a relatively quiet February at Irwindale Event Center … the powers that be have announced a special DAY of DESTRUCTION event set for Sunday afternoon, February 15.
“We’re very excited about having this sort of a crowd-pleaser so early in the new season, it’ll really be a fun way to kick off 2015 on the oval track,” said Operations VP, Bob Klein.
Included in the afternoon’s medley of motorized mayhem is an Enduro Flagpole Race, the Skid Plate Cars on the oval and in a Figure 8 race, a Compact Car Demolition Derby, and an (always wild and nutty) Trailer Race.
Gates for the Sunday afternoon show will open at 11am, with Irwindale’s traditional, family-fun On-Track Autograph Session starting at 11:45am and the first event taking to the track at 1pm.
