Windows Based Ingest Application for Broadcast, Post and Compliance Recording
Las Vegas, NV – April 6, 2015. – Magicsoft, a leading worldwide supplier of Windows based broadcast applications, is pleased to announce the first release of Magicsoft Recorder, an easy to use yet powerful multi-channel capable recording application that uses Blackmagic Design video input devices to record standard and high definition video in various formats to standard off the shelf Windows based workstations and laptops.
Magicsoft Recorder consists of a base application priced at US$ 595.00. The base application can be used to ingest and record a single channel of video and is upgradeable to support up to three additional channels at a cost of US$250.00 each. The resulting four channels can record four separate input streams – each of which can be written to two different destinations in two different formats or codecs. The application, besides being extremely easy to configure and set up is highly customizable The various inputs can be renamed, QuickKeys can be created and used for most repetitive tasks. There is a built in scheduler that permits single or recurring recordings to be quickly created. There is even a storage management capability to assure that sufficient disk space is available for all recordings.
Up to 16 audio channels per input can be monitored and adjusted. System performance and storage is displayed so that the user is always aware of the system status. Each video input is displayed in its own mini-panel which when selected is displayed in a larger onscreen window.
Magicsoft Recorder uses Blackmagic Design single or multichannel video input devices. If and when additional input is required, a second video device can be installed in the system and that input can be used for either monitoring or recording.
