“KING of the WING” DEMO RUN!
The fastest racing machines ever to run at Irwindale Speedway are coming back to wow the crowds on Saturday night November 21 … That’s when the KING OF THE WING National Sprint Car Championship returns to the Speedway with the quickest, closest, and most exciting open wheel racing in all of short track!
The good news is that we’ll have top open wheel driver Tim Skoglund with us here this Saturday night to take a few (fast!) demonstration laps on the track just to show fans a little of what’s on tap for November 21!
Fan and Family discount tickets for this very special event will be on sale at the Irwindale souvenir stand on Saturday night…

Two wildly entertaining events are set for the Speedway over the weekend. Each very different but each a full evening (that’s Saturday) or full day (that’s Sunday) of fun, action entertainment … And both are at the family-friendly, freeway-close Irwindale Event Center … They are:
FRIGHT NIGHT AT THE SPEEDWAY: DEMOLITION DERBY, (CLASS C) RV DEMOLITION DERBY. SKID PLATES. ENDURO, AND TRAILER RACE … AND THE PICK YOUR PART SOUTH WEST TOUR TRUCKS! GET HERE EARLY FOR TRICK OR TREATS RIGHT ON THE RACE TRACK AT 5:45!!!

AND… Here’s a cool added attraction for Saturday night:
The SoCal MINI Maniacs Car Club has big plans to invade the speedway for a final “Night of Destruction” on Oct. 24th.
Many of them will be in costume and they’re all bringing Trick or Treat candy for the kids and spectators. They’ll be on display in the Fan Zone at 4 p.m. and then right down on the track (with trunks open and brimming with Halloween goodies) during the On-Track Autograph Session at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday!
