TV’S HIT VARIETY SHOW "LARRY’S COUNTRY DINER" FEATURES A COUNTRY MUSIC LINE-UP TO REMEMBER IN DECEMBER

The smell of fresh-baked biscuits and hot country ham fills the airwaves at “Larry’s Country Diner,” this holiday season as RFD-TV’s top-rated variety show welcomes country music guests Exile, Randy Owen, David Ball, Mo & Holly Pitney and Asleep At The Wheel, and guest hosts Larry Gatlin, Mark Wills, T. Graham Brown, Jeannie Seely and Rhonda Vincent.
Reminiscent of the golden days of classic country music and the knee-slapping family fun of “Hee Haw,” the popular, old-time variety show takes viewers back in time to a simpler age, when food was home-cooked, and being “connected” meant nothing more than sharing good times with family and friends. A lively cast made up of show creator and namesake, Larry Black, Renae The Waitress, dessert-loving church lady Nadine, guitar-playing Sheriff Jimmy Capps and famed radio DJ Keith Bilbrey appear in all traditional episodes. However this season, its lead character is replaced by celebrity guest hosts as Black continues his recovery from a serious ATV accident.
Taped in front of a live studio audience, which is treated to hot food fresh from the diner kitchen and has the opportunity to appear on-screen in each episode, “Larry’s Country Diner,” is always live-to-tape and completely unscripted in format. With the frequently recited motto, “Where the cameras are always rolling, and we don’t care,” the show delivers can’t-miss weekly episodes that have earned it over 1.6 million viewers per month and the title as the RFD-TV network’s most popular show among viewers ages 50 and up. Fans are encouraged to register to attend a live studio taping by calling 800-820-5405.
A media alert released in September by Gabriel Communications, the parent company of “Larry’s Country Diner,” reveals Black’s plans to return to his lead role of hosting for the next series of tapings, which will be held at Nashville’s Northstar Studios on December 2.
“By the grace of God, and as a result of the multitude of heartfelt prayers and well wishes from my supporters, I am back on my feet and ready to get back to hosting the show,” said Black. “It’s been a long road to recovery but I am so grateful to the country music stars who lent their time to fill in for me as guest hosts this past season.”
