orona, CA (December 21, 2015) — It’s been another year of entertaining, up close and personal motorsports interviews by venerable racing journalist and TV host Dave Despain. This Sunday, Dec. 27 at 8:30pm ET on The Dave Despain Show, Dave looks back at some of this year’s unexpected insights and often heart-warming moments on the season wrap-up, only on MAVTV.
“For as long as I’ve covered racing — and that’s a long time! — the season-in-review show has been one of my favorite racing traditions,” Despain said. “It’s a holiday treat to boil the year down to its ‘best of’ moments, relive all that fun and then file them away in our racing memory banks.”
Whether they compete on two wheels or four, are rising stars or series legends, journeymen or giants, every racer has a story to tell. And Despain has a knack for uncovering the internal drive that propels each of his guests to victory lane, often against the odds, time and time again.
Selecting the top “best of” moments wasn’t easy however, as Despain sat down this year with some top talent from NASCAR, IndyCar, NHRA, motocross, off-road and sports car racing. He jokes that he has the best guest list in all of motorsports, but it’s true; Despain’s year-end highlights include segments from competitors including:
