Seeing Oscar® nominees Leonardo DiCaprio, Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon, Michael Fassbender, Eddie Redmayne, Cate Blanchett, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale, Mark Ruffalo, Sylvester Stallone, Rachel McAdams, Alicia Vikander or Kate Winslet exit a limo on to the red carpet can be exciting moments for viewers of the Academy Awards® on February 28, 2016.

You will be about as close as you can be to actually being at the Academy Awards® itself if you are fortunate enough to attend the Roger Neal Style Hollywood Oscar® Viewing Dinner at the Hollywood Museum, literally within a stones short throw of the road closures at Hollywood and Highland where the limos drop off the attendees of the Academy Awards®.

“Being adjacent to and overlooking the festivities (Academy Awards®), the proximity allows celebrities and guests to share in the excitement of the Academy Awards® themselves,” says Hollywood Museum President and Founder Donelle Dadigan.

The 88th Academy Awards® may be the most controversial show in the Academy’s history. What won’t be, is one of the most anticipated viewing dinners for the show, the Roger Neal Style Hollywood Oscar® Viewing Dinner. In its inaugural year of a new tradition, it promises to be memorable in the style of classic Hollywood with Presidential Chef Kurt Erhlich midst the historic Hollywood Museum produced by Roger Neal who has produced the Roger Neal Style Hollywood Oscar® Suite for the past 20 years.

Oscar® winners George Chakiris (Oscar® winner for West Side Story® in 1961) and Margaret O’Brien (Oscar® winner for “Meet Me in St. Louis” in 1944) will begin the annual tradition of two legends of the entertainment business being awarded the ICON Award.

“The dinner will be a beautiful sit down, white glove service dinner, while we watch the Academy Awards®. I have seen the menu and the stars and sponsors will not be disappointed, as a teaser the dessert will have edible gold, how appropriate for the Oscars®” shared Neal.

A special Academy Awards® exhibit plus exhibits inside the Hollywood Museum with champagne and hors d’oeuvres can be enjoyed prior to dinner on Oscar® Sunday by attendees. Besides Lorimar Winery champagne and wine, guests will also enjoy Chocolatier Glamour Bombonier Brazilian Sweets of miniature edible gold covered statues.
