Felicia Day’s Geek and Sundry Relaunches With New Look, Fresh Programming and Returning Favorites

Super Fun Awesome Party Game” and “Signal Boost” join the brand’s ever-expanding slate of original series

March 1st, 2016 – Just in time for its one-year anniversary on Twitch, Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry relaunches today with a fresh new look that perfectly encapsulates its place in gaming culture, including a soft launch of its Preferred Partner Network, a newly curated destination for locating friendly local game stores around the world. The Legendary Digital Networks brand also announces two all-new original series: Super Fun Awesome Party Game, premiering March 3rd; and Signal Boost, launching March 15th.

“I’m so excited to see Geek & Sundry evolving into a broader, more comprehensive brand, while still retaining our core indie geek spirit,” founder Felicia Day stated of the update. “We represent so many niche interests in the gaming and geek world, and I’m thrilled to level up with a new redesign that reflects that.” Adam Rymer, president of Legendary Digital Networks, stated, “Geek & Sundry has established an amazing audience built around creating real communities, both online and offline.  Our goal is to continue to develop new types of programming and offerings in partnership with key brand partners that allow this community to grow and share experiences with each other in fun and unique ways.”

Since its inception in 2012, Geek & Sundry has been an unparalleled destination for all things gaming, growing from a YouTube Channel to a multi-platform brand with year-round original programming, a website dedicated to the gamer lifestyle, a highly-engaged social network and an exceptional community that thrives on positivity.  Since then, they have seen a 500% increase in unique users per month. Their social footprint has grown to over four million and their live streaming platform, GnSLive, has one of the highest subscriber counts on Twitch with over 15,000 paid subscribers.  Because of their community-first attitude, Geek & Sundry has become the go-to source for everything gaming – from tabletop games and video games, to live-action roleplaying and room escapes, and everything in between.

Joining Geek & Sundry’s already successful slate – which includes TableTop, Critical Role, Titansgrave, and GnSLive on Twitch – are Super Fun Awesome Party Game and Signal Boost. Hosted by Jesse Cox and Jessica Marzipan, Super Fun Awesome Party Game takes our favorite childhood games (think Operation and Charades) and makes them just a little more super fun awesome. (Remember all that fun you had playing Twister? Now the mat will be covered in chocolate syrup.) Signal Boost is a weekly series where initial host Marisha Ray (Critical Role) shares the top five things we’re obsessed with this week. With items ranging from the coolest new websites to must-buy geek gear and crowdfunding projects worthy of attention, the Geek & Sundry crew curates the best of the best to share with fans. Additionally, Signal Boost will rotate hosts every few episodes, giving viewers an ever-evolving take on weekly obsessions.
