ABOUT LEE GREENWOOD:
Throughout his expansive career, international country music star Lee Greenwood has earned multiple CMA and ACM Awards, a GRAMMY® Award for Top Male Vocal Performance on “I.O.U,” in 1985, and a multitude of other prestigious award nominations. His discography includes twenty-two studio albums, seven compilation albums, seven No. 1 hits, and thirty-eight singles including songs like “Ring On Her Finger,” “Time On Her Hands,” “Dixie Road,” and “Somebody’s Gonna Love You,” among others. His stand-out hit “God Bless The USA,” has been in the top five on the country singles charts three times (1991, 2001 and 2003), giving it the distinction of being the only song in any genre of music to achieve that feat. It was also No. 1 on the pop charts after 9/11. Known for his stand-out patriotism and support of the U.S. military, Greenwood has been honored with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s National Patriot’s Award, and entertained troops on more than 30 USO Tours. In 2015, he celebrated the release of his first children’s book, a patriotic fully-illustrated hardback titled Proud To Be An American, which debuted at No. 1 on Amazon the week of its release. ABOUT THE KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS:
Known as “Southern Rock Royalty” and the “great American rock ‘n’ roll band,” The Kentucky Headhunters have maintained a longevity most acts can only dream about. With a GRAMMY® Award, CMA Album of the Year Award, two CMA Vocal Group of the Year Awards, two Top 10 charting albums, and four consecutive Top 40 hits. The “Heads” are credited for creating a unique blend of honky-tonk, blues, and southern rock that appeals to the toughest music critics and listeners of all kinds. Getting their start in 1968, brothers Fred and Richard Young and cousins Greg Martin and Anthony Kenny, from Edmonton, Kentucky, formed Itchy Brother, which later morphed into The Kentucky Headhunters after Kenny departed and Doug Phelps joined the band. Their first album, Pickin’ On Nashville, (1989), surprised the world when it became a major success, selling over two million copies. Their newest album Meet Me in Bluesland, hit stores on June 2 and includes the last vocals ever recorded of the late, great pianist Johnnie Johnson — Rock N Roll Hall of Famer and legendary keyboardist for Chuck Berry. Meet Me In Bluesland features previously unreleased, original material, and showcases The Kentucky Headhunters’ familiar blues sound. The album reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Blues Album chart the week of its debut. It also garnered top placement on the Billboard Americana Chart. Yahoo! Music hailed, “The album is a rocking joy through and through, an unexpected romp that’s as good to hear as it must have been to perform.” The Kentucky Headhunters still tour extensively throughout the United States and will soon be commencing a European tour in 2016. ABOUT ROY CLARK:
Roy Clark is one of the top entertainers ever in country music, and he has the CMA and ACM awards to prove it. Despite all of the well-deserved accolades for the Country Music Hall of Fame member, Clark remains a household name after two decades of spreading the gospel of country music from Kornfield Kounty into the living rooms of America. Clark co-hosted HEE HAW for more than two decades after it premiered on June 15, 1969. HEE HAW became one of the longest-running shows in syndication (1971–1992). In addition to his television triumphs, Clark has headlined some of the world’s most prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Grand Palace in Brussels and the Rossiya Theatre in Moscow. A partial list of his many awards include the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year, Academy of Country Music’s Comedy Act of the Year and a Grammy for “Alabama Jubilee.” Clark became a Grand Ole Opry member in 1987. He was also the first country music artist to guest host Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Show.” Clark and wife Barbara live in Oklahoma where he finds time to fish, fly his airplanes and ride motorcycles. ABOUT MOE BANDY:
There aren’t many musical performers who’ve been on top of a bucking bull or bronco and on top of the country music charts, but Moe Bandy has. A member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, he has had 40 Top Ten singles, 66 charted releases and 10 Number One hits including “Too Old To Die Young,” “Bandy the Rodeo Clown,” “Hank Williams, You Wrote My Life” and “Just Good Ol’ Boys.” And, he’s not hung up his recording hat yet — Bandy will release a new project soon titled, Lucky Me, chock-full of the honky-tonk sounds his fans have grown to expect and depend on. Moe’s thankful for all the riches his career has brought him – from his loyal fans to his close friendship with former President George Bush, who counts Moe’s 1988 hit “Americana” as one of his favorite songs.
