If you listen to We’ McDonald’s voice only you would hear the voice of a teenager. She has the voice of a 17 year old. She is the youngest of The Voice’s Season 11 finalists. Her singing voice however is much deeper and operatic and a big surprise especially if you hear her speaking voice.
Being teased when she was younger, it was something she overcame. Forget the butterflies, she’s the one that will just do it.
During the finale, she sang “Ave Maria” with her coach Alicia Keys. During her interview, she talks about the journey to singing “Ave Maria”. A traditional song, it has intimidated many singers. On stage, they performed it with yin and yang pianos candlelit with young singers in the background. In one word, it was glorious and the ultimate singing of “Ave Maria” as her powerful operatic voice had me in a near trance.
She’s a fashionista and even designed her own outfit she was wearing when we interviewed her. Which designer would she most like to wear? You’ll catch it in the interview below:
