The agency will provide “a comprehensive service” with its founding team, which is said to have collective esports experience of over 25 years.

Though just being announced now, Hotdrop has been operating since January of this year. It has already worked with the likes of ESL UK and Intel on the Rainbow Six Siege Premiership and FutureGen campaign, respectively. It has also managed public relations for British esports organisation Endpoint.
Hotdrop will provide marketing and communications services to the Weavr Consortium, an ESL UK-led project that was awarded a GBP4 million demonstrator grant by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) in January 2019.

Dower, who will serve as Hotdrop’s Managing Director, spoke on the venture in a release: “Ever since being involved in the space, I’ve always aimed to combine my passion for content creation, gaming and esports. The same passion is shared by our incredibly talented team, pushing innovation and creating narrative for the fans. Founding Hotdrop has given us the opportunity to show the world of esports what we are made of and I am so excited to see what we build in the years to come.”
Moving forward, the agency is looking to work with tournament organisers, organisations, game publishers, and brands across gaming and esports. It offers “in-house creative design, marketing and public relations services, video production and social media support.”
Esports Insider says: Dower has proven herself in many facets of the industry, though she may well have found her forte in marketing and PR. Having garnered plenty of experience as ESL UK’s Marketing Director, we’ve no doubt that she’ll be a wonderful leader and make waves in the industry with Hotdrop.
